Last Easter our kids begged us to hide the Easter eggs outside, "just like we did in California", so we put on our jacket and froze as we hid and found all the eggs. This Easter we woke up to 6 inches on snow, and they were still asking to have them hidden outside. They then realized that they would just be able to follow my footsteps and find all the eggs. Then they thought that I could just stand on the deck and chuck them, in which I responded that we wouldn't find them until spring (but wasn't this spring?). They finally decided that it would be ok to hide them in the house.
This winter has been very long and very cold. Clark insists that the White Witch of Narina has taken up residence here. Our only hope is that everyone from here says that this is an unusual winter (but according to them, we haven't experience a usual one yet).
